Our Farm
Our Farm sits on 14 acres in the
beautiful Midwest in a town called Lonedell, Missouri.
We are solely family owned and operated. We originally
put 2,000 lavandula x intermedia “Phenomenal” plants in the ground May 2021.
This species is a French lavender hybrid. We love it for its incredibly tall
silvery green stems and beautifully full deep purple flower buds! These plants
can get 3ft tall by 3ft wide, which is pretty hearty for lavender! They have
proved to be quite resilient plants for our soil. Their smell is absolutely
intoxicating as you walk through the field during bloom season and just after
being cut.
We’ve been dreaming of starting this farm for many years
now. Elizabeth has experienced first hand how plant medicine can really improve
your health. She has suffered from severe stress and anxiety for most of her
teen and adult life. Through the practice of both aromatherapy and yoga she was
able to manage both problems! She decided she wanted to share her love of
lavender with anyone who was open to it. Chad being the supportive husband he
is, was 100% on board. Thus birthing the idea to start their very own lavender
farm.
Dreaming of starting a lavender farm and actually starting a
lavender farm are two very different things! There’s no warning out there from
anyone telling you just how difficult it will be. Believe us when we say it’s
very difficult! Starting from nothing but open pasture we borrowed tools and
what machinery we could to prepare our soil. We called on the help of anyone
willing and able to plant and host a “lavender planting party.” We owe a great
debt to our families and friends who have been instrumental in our journey to
launch our business! The day our plants went in the ground was just four weeks
after Elizabeth gave birth! She wasn’t even given a clean bill of health and
she was out in the field putting plants in the ground and nursing a fresh
little babe!
We’ve gone through all this hard work bleeding, sweating and
crying some days all for our clients, YOU! We believe in not just the beauty,
but the real benefits lavender can offer your life! We hope you enjoy the
